Sandbox Games

Minecraft made the genre mainstream, but it goes far beyond building with blocks. A sandbox can be a game where you throw objects at ragdolls with ridiculous physics, a survival title where every run feels different, or simply a space where the only goal is pure chaos. What defines a sandbox isn't the size of the world but the lack of rules: you play how you want, when you want, and for whatever you want.
