How is this different from just using the website?
The website has no view of what's on your computer and simply lets you download a file to run yourself. This app checks what's already installed and where it came from, then installs or updates your apps in one click, without needing a browser.
Does it only track apps I installed through Uptodown?
No. Most apps get updated directly through Uptodown. For those that can't, it still checks for updates from other official sources—currently, just the Mac App Store.
Do I need an account?
No. Like the rest of Uptodown, no sign-in is required to browse or install.
