Worm Games

In 1995, the Worms franchise turned worms into soldiers armed with bazookas and cluster grenades in destructible environments. Twenty years later, Slither.io dropped them into multiplayer arenas and brought the internet to a standstill for weeks. They're two completely different ideas built around the same animal, and both spawned their own genres. Here, their descendants coexist: artillery worms, worms that grow by eating, underground worms that tear through everything in their path.
